Registration / Captains Vote - July 26th 7:00pm @ Interlude
Its that time again....FINALLY!!!! I know many of us thought this day would never come but our league is ready to start. The LBPL BOG had a productive meeting on Tues. 7/13 with many captains present that asked questions and express concerns in regards to the proposals made. We went through all proposals one by one and made needed adjustment to appease all concerns. Those revised proposals will be distributed shortly to the captains again. Captains please make sure you stop in at the Interlude (1710 Clark Ave, Long Beach, CA 90815) to drop off your team team registration form, forms can be found here, https://www.longbeachpl.org/downloads.
Voting will also be done here to approve the reformatted rule book and needed new proposals. However Captains we want to respect your time so to expediate the process you have the ability to write down on a piece of paper your votes, signed and date, and drop off with your registration form and leave if you choose. For those captains who have comments and concerns they can be addressed at this meeting and then live voting will commence.
Captains make sure new players to the league who have not filled out a release form please make sure they complete one. We do have a record of who has completed these forms from last year as we have them now all on file in a Google Drive so only new players and players who did not play last year need to do this. In regards to Covid protocals please respect the protocals of the business owner. If they ask you to wear a mask wear a mask. Please be respectful of players spaces as some players still are following stricter protocals than others.
Lastly the new schedule is posted to the website, no teams have been placed on the schedule yet so you don't know where you are playing yet but you do know the nights of play, fundraisers, off nights and tournaments. Team placement will happen after registration.
