Welcome to the Spring 2020 Season of LBPL.
Due to WCC 81 - Los Angeles being moved up a few weeks we need to get right back into the next season. With that we want to let you know that the board met and set the new calendar for our spring 2020 seaon. All dates for week play, fundraiser tournaments, captains meetings and final tournaments are set and can be found on the website. There are two ways to access the calendar, under “About Us” and also from the call out on the home page of the website.
The schedule of play will be posted after team registration takes place. There were dates we had to contend with but Memorial Day weekend is free to spend time with families. Long Beach Pride weekend is free to party it up. The board is looking at Cinco De Mayo (Tuesday May 5th) and discussing with bars owners as we have our 1st week of team playoffs scheduled then. We will keep captains posted to make sure there is no scheduling issues with the bars. If so adjustments will be discussed with the captains at the captains meeting and a solution will be reached.
Lastly, thank you to all our players for making our last West Coast Challenge 80 in Long Beach a great success. A final congrats to all players who placed from the Long Beach Pool League, we are a fierce force!
