The Board has decided to suspend league play by a 5-2 vote. We will continue to assess as more information becomes available but given that we have players who would like to play but can't because of their health concerns its only fair to suspend play. Our sister leagues are taking similar actions and its likely that WCC will be pushed back as well.
This has been a difficult decision that the Board has grappled with and this did not come easily as we all love the game. Although this may seem drastic to some, the LBPL has many members who are in high risk groups and this virus is highly contagious and we want to make the problem better, not worse. Our bottom line is protecting the health of our members.
